How much cake? "peco da kuko"
What kind of piece? "peco de kuko"

How many flowers? "bukedo da floroj"
What kind of bouquet? "bukedo de floroj"

How much coffee? "taso da kafo"
What kind of cup? "taso de kafo"

Generally I don't think these distinctions matter much. When I ask for a "cup of coffee" I'm not exactly specifying how much, but I'm also not describing the cup. So either expression seems fine to me in Esperanto. BUT--if I want a gallon of coffee for some reason, I'd definitely ask for "galjono da kafo". And honestly, if I want a cup specifically designed for coffee I'd ask for a "kaftaso".
