Mi kaj Vido ĵus revenis de "Consonance", la scienc-fikcia muzika konferenco, kiun okuris ĉe la Crowne Plaza Milpitas, kien TKEK okuros je Aprilo.

Mi piediris al la restaŭracioj apud la hotelo, kaj vidis mirindan grupon de ili. La manĝajo estas ĉefe ĉina, japana, kaj singapora/malaya. Ekzistas ankaŭ granda "supermarket" kun "hot deli" kaj "bakery".

Ankaŭ, ni manĝis je la hotela restaŭracioj, kaj ili estas ankaŭ bonaj, laŭ ni.

Vido and I just came back from "Consonance," the science fiction music convention at the Crowne Plaza Milpitas, which is where TKEK will be happening in April.

I walked (half a block, then cross the street, then cross a big parking lot) to the local restaurants near the hotel, and saw an amazingly large group of them. The food is chiefly Chinese (many varieties of), Japanese (sushi), and Singapore/Malasian. There's also a huge supermarket with a hot deli and a bakery.

We also ate in the hotel restaurant (breakfast/brunch - all you can eat, plus drink, plus a hot omlette guy) for about twelve dollars) and the hotel bar (huge cheeseburger, fries, hot tea, was about fifteen dollars).
